Mr Mluleki Thango

I Mluleki Thango, a third-year Information Systems student and currently a Research Assistant at the Cybersecurity Capacity Centre for Southern Africa (C3SA). My interest in cybersecurity comes from a deep curiosity about how technology can protect people and create more inclusive digital environments, especially in communities that are often overlooked. Working at C3SA has given me the chance to explore how cybersecurity policy and capacity-building can make a real impact in Southern Africa. As a student, I’m still learning and growing, but I’m driven by a genuine desire to contribute to systems that are not only secure, but also fair and accessible. I see this as just the beginning of the work I hope to do in the field.
